What insurance providers do you accept?

We accept and process most dental plans. We accept BC Ministry and NIHB plans. We accept assignment. This means that when you provide us with your insurance information, we should be able to bill your dental plan, and have the insurance company send payments to our office. If there is a patient portion, we do expect that to be paid at the time the service is rendered, unless previous arrangements have been approved.

Please remember that your benefits are a contract between your employer and the insurance company. Our dental office processes and accepts payment from your insurance company as a courtesy to our patients. Any balance not covered by your insurance is your responsibility.

We will do our very best to answer any questions you have about your benefits, and try to work within your annual limits. Insurance companies insist that all major work be preauthorized by them, and we will begin that process as soon as possible so that estimates given to you are as accurate as we can provide. If you are particularly concerned about costs , please let us know so that we can do everything we can to avoid any unexpected surprises.

Due to the institution of the Privacy Act, insurance providers are, more frequently that in the past, sending information to their clients (you) and limiting information given to dental offices. Please be willing to help us to help you manage your benefits.
